Although preferring a warm humid climate, it is tolerant of a wider range of light conditions than other Vandaceous orchids, and seems to grow well under less light than vandas and ascocendas. It can be grown in baskets, or in a pot with coarse bark mix. If growing in pots, repotting can be challenging because of the very stiff, thick roots. These orchids appreciate frequent watering but do not like to stay wet. The flowers come in a variety of colors; what we currently have available are quite large plants (blooming size) with either red, or spotted (magenta on white) flowers.\u003c\/span\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eWe are offering these extra large plants and some are in spike (Fall 2024).
